Aussiblue™ is a modern turf variety designed to thrive in Queensland’s climate, and it’s quickly becoming popular in backyards across South-East Queensland. With fine to medium leaves, Aussiblue has a color similar to Queensland Blue Couch. However, this new variety is more durable, softer, and denser compared to the older Queensland Blue Couch. Although Queensland Blue Couch can be mowed to a lower height, Aussiblue is generally easier to maintain. Its success is evident in both residential and commercial projects throughout South-East Queensland.

As our turf is cut and packed fresh from the farm, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice for orders to be delivered.

*A minimum lay fee of $395 (inc GST) will apply for orders 25m2 – 158m2
*Up to $0.80 (inc GST) per m2 extra may apply to lay jobs with stairs/ hills/ wheelbarrow etc
*Turf layers will advise office once on site and assessed if extra fees apply
*Site deliveries over 1 hour will incur a cost of $200/hr +GST thereafter

Aussieblue is suitable for semi-shaded areas, it’s a great option in commercial projects as it very hard wearing and traffic tolerant. It also does well in direct sun for 6-7hrs.
You should always use 50mm-100mm of a good quality underturf in preparation before laying.
Aussieblue is a good choice with kids and pets as it has the softest leaf on the market and will resist tread well as it repairs rapidly so will bounce back in areas of extreme wear.
